2013 Audi RS4 Avant: Culprit in the murder of a 600 Year Old Landmark!
On Audi Four Life, not only do we like to cover recent news regarding the latest and greatest from Audi, but we also like to take a look at trending events happening across the globe. Not always is this news pleasant, may it be the loss of a well adored model, the destruction of a brand-new Audi R8 or news that the naturally aspirated V8 is being swapped for a Supercharged V6 ! Oh, the horror!!
The latest story that we are covering is quite tragic for both the owner of the Audi and the victims. It features a 2013 Audi RS4 Avant. That's right, the 450hp beast that generates 317 lb-ft of torque out of a naturally aspirated V8! Capable of speeds up to 174mph, this thing is ready to fly and pretty much that is what it did. While travelling down one of Britain's freeways, the RS4 allegedly was forced off the road (at its top speed of 174mph), by a driver proceeding in the oncoming lane; and then crashed into a section of a 600 Year Old, Oak framed cottage, located in Cheshire, England. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident, however, the RS4 sustained critical damage, the same being said for the cottage.

A treasured land mark for 600 years, the cottage will be rebuilt in the coming years. The owners
unfortunately are forced to find temporary housing in the meantime. The cause of the accident is being investigated and Cheshire police are currently searching for a blue VW that was the cause of the crash.
It's tragic to hear about events that involve the loss of a treasured landmark. We are sure the accident impacted many locals in the area. Additionally, its heart wrenching to hear about a stellar car being involved in such a crash.
